Hi, I’m Marci Garcia, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. Mental health care is more than just a profession for me—it’s personal. After losing my grandmother to suicide, I came to understand just how deeply mental health struggles can impact individuals and families. That experience continues to fuel my commitment to providing compassionate, accessible, and effective care to those who are hurting.
I earned my psychiatric nurse practitioner certification in October 2023 when I then began working with a wide range of mental health conditions in outpatient clinics. Over the years I have worked in a crisis stabilization unit in downtown San Antonio, hospice, home health and medsurg. These diverse experiences have shaped my approach to care—one that is client-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in empathy.
I’m currently accepting patients ages 6 and older and offer services through private pay and select insurance plans. To ensure we’re a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can discuss your goals, concerns, and how I can best support you.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to listen, to support, and to help you take the next steps toward healing.

Finding the right medication can be a powerful step toward feeling more like yourself again. I offer thoughtful, personalized medication management that supports your mental health journey with clinical insight and compassionate care. Whether you’re beginning treatment or refining your current plan, I’m here to guide you with expertise and understanding.

Everyone’s story is unique—and so is their path to wellness. In our work together, I provide a supportive therapeutic space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. With evidence-based approaches and a deeply human connection, therapy can help you move forward with clarity and strength.

Mental wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all. I take a holistic approach that considers all aspects of your life—emotional, physical, and environmental. From mindfulness and lifestyle changes to traditional treatment options, we’ll work together to create a plan that fits you—not just your symptoms.
